Redesign and improve the payment experience. The new digital era is changing the way we pay: now a days the consumers are looking for simple, quick and efficient experiences.
Research Insights.
The payment process in restaurants can be long and tedious:
· Having to wait for an available card machine to pay.
· Splitting the bill between friends.
· Since Uber, people have been getting used to a seamless payment process.
Proposal.
Seamless by Mastercard® replicates the payment experience from Uber to restaurants. It is a new added feature for Masterpass®, a digital wallet that allows users to check out faster when shopping online. Seamless reduces payment times and decreases the use of paper.
